One of the most highly regarded ensembles in the world, the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra was founded in 1942 and has appeared in concert with the greatest conductors and soloists. The legendary musicians featured at their performances include Clara Haskil, Alfred Cortot, Walter Gieseking and Edwin Fischer, and today’s brightest stars are equally ready to cooperate with the orchestra.

The Lausanne Chamber Orchestra is open towards every style, and its individual sound and sophisticated manner of playing have been polished by such charismatic conductors as Günter Wand, Charles Dutoit, Paul Hindemith, Ton Koopman, Jeffrey Tate, and the current principal guest conductor, Bertrand de Billy. They arrive at the Spring Festival with Pascal Rogé, a brilliant pianist committed to French music.
